Mid Century Abstract Painting
This original oil painting was done by “Carlo of Hollywood” in the 1950s and is of a staircase (to heaven.) The artist himself remains an enigma, but he is rumored to have been a set designer on “I Love Lucy,” and produced original oil paintings and watercolors that were sold in department stores, out of his Artcraft Studio in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. They remain highly collectible, and this piece is in it’s original frame, which has tremendous character, to match the size. (It is huge.)
Good Vintage condition. Frame has scuffs on edges.
43.5” W x 33.5” H
